On Tuesday 3 March 2015 at 04:23:58 GMT a MrBackup portal server experienced a host initiated restart.
This was part of a routine software upgrade and maintenance schedule running on the specific server and designed to cause minimum impact on operations.
Server logs indicate that no client was affected by the downtime.
Why did this happen? All computers run operating system (OS) software such as Windows or Linux. In order to keep abreast of new technology, up to date with new threats and security issues and maintain the highest operational standards it is necessary to update software to current standards.
